ASPCA Supports Heavenly Horse Haven Project to Feed Rescued Horses

Anza, CA-Heavenly Horse Haven (HHH) today announced that the ASPCA® (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals®) has granted them $4,000 to feed horses rescued from crisis situations.

"HHH is grateful to the ASPCA for providing us with the means to help feed these horses, who are just as affected by the economic downturn as their owners," said Gina Perrin, CEO of HHH. "The horses in our care are rescued from a wide variety of crises, including owner-surrender, feedlots, hoarder, and a ranch that produced PMU (pregnant mare urine)".

With ASPCA's help, HHH through the Project; Emergency Feed for 15 Horses, will provide those horses with hay and supplements.  The grant period of 6 months provides time for HHH to continue training the eligible adoptees, caring for the neglected rescues, assessing the rescues potential and promoting for sponsorship and/or adoption.

Since 2007, HHH has provided rescue adoption services for horses and farm animals in crisis situations such as feedlots, backyard abandonment and is committed to providing horses and farm animals a safe haven. To learn more about HHH please visit .
